​The 4th annual AI in Agriculture conference is being hosted by Mississippi State University (MSU) and its Agricultural Autonomy Institute. The conference will run from Monday, March 31, through Wednesday, April 2, 2025. The theme of this 4th annual conference is "The role of AI in autonomous agricultural systems and socioeconomic effects," but abstracts from all fields of AI in agriculture are welcome.

Leaders from agInnovation, our national network of agricultural experiment stations at the nation’s Land-grant universities, have shared a draft of our 10-year Research Roadmap. This is intended to be a living document, so please take a look and reach out with your thoughts and feedback!

We are now agInnovation North Central! On October 11, 2024, NCRA directors unanimously voted for a name change to agInnovation North Central to better align with our national and sister regional associations.​

Great job North Central region! Our regional nominees for the 2024 agInnovation Research Innovation Award of Excellence (Dr. Barbara Valent) and the Excellence in Multistate Research Award (NCERA101: Controlled Environment Technology and Use) won the national competition, as well! Way to represent, NC!
